I was considering the band name Cardinal Puffin for a possible banjo/bodhran project so I Googled those words and up popped these angelic drawings by young artist Olivia Bouler.
Olivia is an aspiring ornithologist, artist and saxophone player whose hero is James Audubon. Concerned about the plight of birds in the Gulf after the 2010 oil spill, she is using her talents as an artist to raise funds for wildlife recovery efforts. Olivia has a children's book, Olivia's Birds: Saving the Gulf.

Other band names I was considering included Pigtown Fling and Two Shilling Ale, but I think I'll go with Cardinal Puffin so that we can associate it with these adorable images. That is if Cardinal Puffin ever has another band practice. Only managed to have one so far!
